Our Book Fair was a huge success thanks to all of you. We so appreciate all your efforts in helping us build our school library. Thanks to you support we were able to purchase over $400.00 in books from Scholastic. On behalf of all the teachers and myself THANK YOU. Carol
Just a couple of reminders SCHOOL TIME is closed for all students Friday April 10 and April 13, 2009 for Spring Recess. All classes will return on Tuesday April 14, 2009.
We also have an OPEN HOUSE scheduled for new enrollment on April 25, 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00. If you know of anyone interested in a quality preschool or summer camp, with experienced, certified and dedicated staff, in a beautiful state of the art facility please tell them to visit us. Your recommendation can mean a lot to a perspective parent.

Happy Valentine's Day
We hope everyone enjoyed this weekend and took the time to celebrate Valentine's Day with someone they love. The children were so excited to take home their Build a Bear,that Miss Mary bought for as a valentine surprise.
We have an OPEN HOUSE on Friday February 20, 2009, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Open House is for all new students for both camp and the new school year. We encourage you to enroll early. This is a great gift to give a child a summer of fun and a school year of learning. Sign up early.
We have so many events coming up. To mention just a few we are finishing up school pictures on February 18, 2009, the dentist is visiting our school on February 25, 2009, we have a Book Fair coming in April and so much more.

The children came in this morning very excited about the Disney on Ice show and the school bus ride to the arena. I hope everyone enjoyed the day with their children.
February is here and depending on what the "groundhog" says it could be more winter or not? February 2, 2009 will tell us the answer. We will use "groundhog day" as a learning lesson to talk about shadows. This month is filled with so many activities. We will celebrate Valentine's Day, learn about friendship and caring. It's "dental Health" month, so we will learn about caring for our teeth and we will have a special visit from the local pediatric dentist who will talk to the children about good dental health care. It's also "President's" day so we will be learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, who they were and why we celebrate their birthdays.
Remember school is closed February 16, 2009 for President's Day.

Disney on Ice trip is a go for Thursday January 29, 2009. Parents and children need to be there no later than 9:15 a.m. If there is no parking drop the children off at school and go to Caymen Pools and park in their lot and walk across to our school.
Our doors will open at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
